Forever Blyde Canyon Resort

Blyde Canyon, A Forever Resort. Commanding views of the Blyde River canyon, which is the third largest river canyon in the world, as well as the Three Rondavels, remarkable buttresses that rise from the rivers’ waters. This Mpumalanga resort is situated on the escarpment between Graskop and Ohrigstad, three hours from Johannesburg and some forty minutes from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.
It is the ideal base for hiking trails on foot or horseback, and scenic trips by car to well-known Mpumalanga tourist attractions, such as historic Pilgrim’s Rest, the fascinating Bourkes’ Luck Potholes, the amazing Pinnacle, the stunning Mac Mac Waterfalls, and the awesome God’s Window, which is without doubt one of the world’s most breathtaking views.
Naturally you can enjoy the excellent facilities at the resort itself. Accommodation comprises a luxury guest house, with three ensuite double rooms overlooking the gorge. There are 93 two- to five-sleeper rustic stone chalets. For those who prefer to bring their own accommodation, there is a 33-stand caravan park, most of which are equipped with power points and are serviced by two ablution facilities, as well as nine tent sites, all with power, which are serviced by two ablution facilities.
The resort’s famous restaurant is frequented by lunchtime sight-seeing tours and individual diners. There are superb conference facilities for up to 250 delegates, or smaller more intimate groups.
